It’s always kind of weird
The ending of a year
Like the turning of a page
Wonder what we’ll see
As the hours turn to weeks
Three hundred some odd days
Something happened something’s up
Something tells me I’m in luck
Something’s leaving or left undone
Something wicked this way comes
Something’s right but something’s wrong
Something’s missing it’s all but gone
Something borrowed from someone blue
Something bittersweet and something new
Look at all these lights
We’re lighting up tonight
Brighter than the moon
Each one makes it feel
A little more surreal
