Baby I love you more than anybody
More than that 1st cup of coffee
And baby who’da’ thought a year ago
I’d forget about all the pain
Baby you were worth the wait
The sleepless nights and the feeling all alone

I know I’ll make it through the ups and downs
But there’s a couple things no one ever talks about

Like the peanut butter in your arm pits
How a mouth full of dirt is happiness
Spaghetti in your hair toys everywhere
And I’m just doin’ my best
I know it’ll go real quick and someday I’ll miss
The peanut butter in your arm pits

Baby you mean so much to me
You’re worth more than a full night’s sleep
I wanna hold you close but first you need a bath
Wouldn’t trade you for anyone else
But I’d kill to use the bathroom by myself
Someone tell me how long does teething last

I know I’ll make it through the ups and downs
But there’s a couple things no one ever talks about

Crayon and handprints on the walls
Cleaning up don’t help at all
Pickin’ your nose watching you grow
It’s hard to stand and let you fall
I know it’ll go real quick and someday I’ll miss
The peanut butter in your arm pits

Cryin’ in the shower sometimes it’s hard to breathe
Lookin’ in the mirror don’t recognize me
No clue what I’m doin’  somehow  we’re doin’ fine
Thank God for everything heavy there’s somethin’ light

How could I have such big love for someone so small
