Mashed up clam shells everywhere
A hundred miles of silver sand
Staring out into the blue
Feel the texture where I stand

Coastal water clear and cool
The gulf surrounds me far and wide
A clear reflection of the sun
Let it keep me warm inside

Sometimes you walk into something
And it seems a certain way
But then you get to the heart of it
It’s ain’t less beautiful, it’s just how it is

Back home sand is hard to find
The city sun don’t feel the same
Summer sidewalk makes me miss
The way the ocean says my name
