Just a blank check from the eyebrows up

So turn up the dial tune into the groove
Shake off that funk and step out of those blues
Let your mind go ‘cuz the world don’t mean a thing

Take a walk in the park lay back in the grass
Just close your eyes let the moments pass
Who knows we’d hear if we gave the birds a chance to sing

Life isn’t all clutter and noise
It’s the simple things that give us joy
The flutter of wings the falling of leaves

I flew through life unfulfilled
Whole lotta’ nothin’ on my windowsill
There’s a better song inside us all take it from me
